Living in Alignment

Updated: Mar 18

It may seem ironic to hear that a psychologist can have emotional ups and downs, that a financial expert might be in a precarious situation, or that a lawyer could be facing legal issues; but this is far more common than you might think.

The coherence between what one claims to want and their actions is not always present. And this is one of the main sources of frustration for many people. Desire says, "I want to lose weight!" while action involves eating a second, deliciously large slice of tres leches cake. Or frustration shows up saying, "I feel like I'm not doing anything with my life," while the reality is someone in star-patterned pajamas, unshowered, and it's already 4:00 p.m.

While the scenario may seem comical and carry a simple connotation, the frustration remains real, and the desire to change is often not enough to transform action. That is why today, as much as possible, I am here to guide and support you in the process of aligning your thoughts and actions in harmony.

  1. The first thing you need to do to align yourself with coherence is to close your eyes and connect with that latent desire. Observe the sensations in your body from this state, identify those sensory flashes that do not match the state you wish to achieve. And rather than fighting against them, embrace the sensations and accept them for what they are.

  2. Once you have identified them, now connect with the rest of the sensations that are in harmony, and with each breath, visualize how those misaligned sensations gradually fill with the sense of coherence you seek— that state that feels right, where you truly want to vibrate.

  1. It is important not to let negative thoughts influence your state of being, as this is a crucial moment of connection where you encounter yourself. Give yourself permission, even for just a moment, to feel that sense of wholeness that you don’t always allow yourself to experience. "Everything is fine and perfect."

  2. As you practice this exercise, remember that every great journey begins with a small moment. Sometimes, there is an urgency to reach the goal quickly, as if by magic, expecting an instant shift that completely transforms the physical components of reality.

What matters is the present moment—filling most of your time with small, intentional, and meaningful moments.
  1. With every step I take, I must trust that it is already leading me toward what I desire. There is a phrase I love that I once heard in a meditation by Joe Dispenza, which says:

"If what I visualize is the outcome, then it means that today, I am the experience."
  1. From this moment on, you can be absolutely certain that every step you take will be taken with awareness, knowing that each one aligns with what you truly want.

Just as psychologists, financial experts, or lawyers can face challenges related to their own field of expertise, the key is to remain aware that anything can happen. At the end of the day, we are all human beings, and that does not make us exempt from facing difficulties.

It is essential to always allow ourselves to value the knowledge we have gained throughout our experiences and to use it, rather than ignore it and continue repeating the same patterns.

We have all, without exception, gathered valuable insights and lessons along our journey. The question is: why not apply them in our daily lives to become the best version of ourselves and act in alignment with what we are meant to be, allowing good things to come to us?

I hope this entry is useful to you, helps you find harmony within yourself, and inspires you to move toward a better state of well-being.
